Where is the Fitness Studio?
The Fitness Studio is based on the 1st Floor of an apartment complex (looks like an office building) called City Exchange located on Hall Ings at the corner of Nelson Street. The main entrance to the Fitness Studio is situated on Nelson Street, directly next to the underground car park opposite Jacobs Well
How do I get in to the building?
On confirmation of your class/session booking, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to enter the building.
There is a key pad entry and you will be given a code upon booking to enter the building.

Can I just turn up to a class or come for a look around?
No. We encourage all visitors to book sessions in advance and online to undergo the necessary Pre-activity readiness requirements and for the management of occupancy.

Can I bring my child along?
Our Fitness Studio is an inclusive area and we are trying to overcome barriers to assist members to train. If you are struggling with childcare feel free to bring your child to explore our unsupervised children’s area. Your child will be under your supervision and encouraged to stay within the children’s area for health & safety precautions and to prevent interruption of fitness classes. We deliver special parent and child fitness sessions and family sessions where babies and children are welcome in to the fitness studio area on those allocated sessions.
Are ladies only sessions available?
Our fitness studio is a warm and welcoming, inclusive space for all members. There are allocated periods during the day where there will be no male members in the studio with ladies only classes.
Can I access the Studio at anytime?
Any access to the studio is by appointment only - therefore you are always required to book onto the appropriate classes/sessions.
In Studio Only and In Studio & Online members have access to Open gym but must book onto the sessions in advance.
MEMBERSHIPS
Whats the difference between the memberships?
We offer 3 different membership subscriptions;
Online only - You get access to all our online content via our extensive members area including On Demand workouts and our live classes delivered through the Zoom platform. This membership does not allow the holder to access any of the In Studio classes or open gym sessions.
In Studio Only - You can access all of the In Studio timetabled sessions and classes with elements of online via our members area but none of the On Demand or Live classes.
Online & In Studio - This gives you everything from In Studio classes, Open gym to Online live and On Demand workouts anytime, anywhere.
What do I get for my membership?
Our approach is bold with our claim to be ‘No Ordinary gym’.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive, safe and fun environment where you can leave all your fears, worries and past experiences at the door.
You get as much or as little as want, as we tailor your experience based on your needs e.g. just come for a great time, shake your booty and leave feeling awesome or you can let our experienced staff guide and support you to your goals.
On confirmation of your membership purchase you can have access to:
The Fundamentals - A 6 week group Personal Training programme for new members
An assigned trainer to guide, support and/or advise you, provide information and resources such as training program, hold you accountable, check in with you etc.
All timetabled classes/sessions associated with your membership
Socials and challenges
An extensive online library of workouts, knowledge, recipes etc (membership dependant)

Do I need a membership to attend classes?
No, you can pay per class for the price of £5, however what sets us apart from other fitness facilities is our ability to provide individualised support to help each and every member with whatever that may be just as a Personal Trainer would.
Do you offer taster sessions?
Yes. We are confident that when you come and try us out, you’ll love the classes and vibe. We just need to show you what your missing
Can I amend my membership package?
The memberships are cancel anytime so yes can be amended during your duration, please speak to your trainer for further information.
Am I tied into a contract?
No. You have the ability to cancel anytime.
How do I cancel my membership?
Log into your Team Up account and cancel your membership from there
CLASSES
How do I book an Online class?
Only members with Online Only or In Studio & Online memberships have access to our online classes
You can book online classes from the online members portal via the Log In section of the website.
You’ll need to ensure that you have activated your online account to access the members area portal via the Log In section of the website.
How do I book an In Studio class?
Only members with In Studio Only or In Studio & Online memberships have access to our In Studio classes
You can book In Studio classes via the website or via the app (Acuity Scheduling Client - which can be downloaded from App Store or Google Play or from your the bottom of your confirmation emails)
What if I can’t attend my class?
On your class booking confirmation sent to you via email, at the bottom, you’ll find a number of buttons to ‘Change/Cancel class:’ - follow the link to cancel
ONLINE
How do I access the members area?
On confirmation of your membership purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on activating your online account.
Please check your confirmation email or ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT HERE.
I can’t access or have forgotten my credentials for the online members area?
The username is most likely to be your email address. If you have forgotten your password, please the ‘forgotten password’ link to reset your password

OPEN GYM
What is Open Gym?
Open gym are 1 hour timetabled slots that allow members to access the studio and do their own thing.
Do I need a membership to access Open Gym?
Yes. Either an In Studio Only membership or In Studio & Online membership.
Online Only members can access Open gym but will need to pay for the hour.
When can I access Open Gym?
Open gym are 1 hour timetabled slots. We offer ladies only open gym slots with all slots highlighted on the timetable
COVID 19
What COVID 19 precautions have been put in place?
Members are encouraged to not attend if showing any symptoms, and to follow government guidelines with regards to isolation and testing protocol.
Main door opened at regular intervals to increase ventilation.
Increased cleaning precautions.
Members asked to sanitise hands before entering.
Its every bodies role to ensure we look after each other and not put each others health at risk.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Do I have access to membership if I choose to do Personal Training?
Yes. Undertaking a Personal Training plan with a PT means that you have full access to everything including In Studio and Online.
Do I get discount on Personal Training if i’m a member?
Members have 1st priority to any of our in house personal training packages with the max benefits. Each package benefits vary. Speak to a trainer for more details.
FACILITIES
Is there free parking?
Yes, all studio users have free access to our car park which is shared with Buzz Bingo situated on Nelson Street (BD1 5AX) opposite Jacobs Well vaccination centre.

Are there changing facilities available?
Yes, we have a dedicated changing area with toilets but no shower facilities at this stage……..we are working on it.
